Scammed

Tomorrow is our anniversary. Scott has to work nights for the first half of the week so we won't get to spend our day together. I had arranged for us to take a plane ride this afternoon with a pilot-friend of mine but the plane was iced up this morning so the surprise didn't happen. I let Scott know what I'd originally been planning so that he wouldn't think I'd completely forgot about the anniversary and he said "Were you going to tell me? What if I had something planned?" Crisis averted, no plane rides happened today, bring on my surprise. Then he made another comment last night about having something planned for our anniversary. This morning he said "keep your afternoon and evening open."

So far today I have made myself a bowl of cereal for breakfast, rather than my usual Sunday hashbrowns and eggs prepared for me by Scott. Then I took the dog for a walk (Scott was there too so I guess it wasn't too bad) and gave him a bath. I played around on the Internet for awhile waiting for Scott to finish cleaning out his work truck. Then I got to go grocery shopping where I didn't ask what we should do for dinner because I assumed that plan had been taken care of. We are now home, and Scott suggested I cook something with potatoes because we have alot to use up.

I'm still waiting to see if his "plans" involve anything other than chores and football.
